Fine. 11 pp. First edition of this long, interesting interview between Michener and NBC News Correspondent Edwin Newman, broadcast as the June 23, 1968 installment of "The Eternal Light," a weekly television program presented by NBC "as a public service and prepared under the auspices of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America." As noted at the end of each broadcast, a script would be sent out by the Seminary to anyone who wrote in. The conversation with Michener focused on his recently published book "The Source," which Newman described her as a "panorama of the Jewish people in the land of Israel." Small light stain to corner of blank verso of last leaf, else a nice copy of one of Michener's least common separate publications.
