Brooklyn: Long Haul Press, 1983. First edition. 58 pp. Very near fine in glossy printed wrappers. INSCRIBED by Allison on the title page, “For Walter – / who understands / the desire, the lust / to live forever on the page. / Dorothy.” Laid in is a brief ALS on Allison’s San Francisco letterhead to the same Walter expressing frustration at not mailing the book sooner, “It’s all this sunshine; it rots the brain.” Her first book, a collection of poems.
