Clifford Odets’ copy with his embossed stamp, “CLIFFORD ODETS / NEW YORK CITY” on the first leaf which is also SIGNED by Odets with the addition, “Chapel Hill, n.c. / 1/39.” In addition to many bracket marks through the text, Odets has penned opposite the title page, “The romantic goes form desire to / disgust + back again – / impulse + repulse?”
