NY: Boni and Liveright (1924). First edition. 286 pp. Very good only in paper-covered boards with cloth spine and printed label. Lacks dust jacket. INSCRIBED by Frank on the second leaf, “To Clifford, / Whose voice is the deepest / and the finest in the / American drama. / Waldo Frank.” The book also has a non-authorial ownership signature, but also Clifford Odet’s embossed stamp “CLIFFORD ODETS / NEW YORK CITY” and his initials.
