Spines lightly tanned, else each is near fine in printed white dust jackets. Both volumes designated “Publisher’s Copy” on the colophon page. These volumes conform to the 1/50 issue, with the inclusions of Stein’s Christmas pamphlet, “Literally True,” and a small 1939 broadside, “Very Well I Thank You.” Finally, laid-in is a 1986 TLS from editor Hass to John Martin regarding a proposed “Stein Anthology” to be published by Black Sparrow.
