SIGNED by Berrigan on the title page and additionally INSCRIBED, “Dear Keith- / I’ve been just poor enough / to embarass myself by not re- / paying special favors, out of / stupid simple distractions. / Sorry. Here’s some / Vigorish. Will send / $ upon receipt of first / paycheck from CCNY / Circa 28 Feb. – Love, Professor Ted.” Also SIGNED by Berrigan on the colophon page and designating, “this is # 1/2 (hors commerce).” And if that weren’t enough, “This copy is for Keith Abbot” penned by Berrigan at the base of the page. As in the twenty-six numbered copies, this one has an original poem, “A Christmas Carol” inked opposite the colophon page.
