May we have a chance to build a friendship — Jim Tate.” The book is additionally dated (5/10/67) and inscribed again (over 80 words), Tate explaining that this copy was somehow deposited in the mail by the original receipient and returned to the Yale University Press by the post office. They returned it to Tate, who in turn returned it to the owner.
