The title and “Robert Duncan January 1954” inked by Duncan on the front cover, which is otherwise blank. See Bertholf A7a. In the note to the third edition described in Bertholf’s bibliography, Duncan is quoted, “Some copies were mailed to associates with only the texts of Acts I-III.” This copy belonged formerly to a close friend of Duncan and Jess, and is likely an example of this abbreviation, especially when considering that the rear unprinted cover sheet is present, and the staples are tight.
